Gary B. Bailey, Chief Executive Officer and clinical director of Alamance Life Works EAP, LLC received a bachelor's degree in psychology at Appalachian State University and a master's degree in social work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He has been a full time and part time assistant professor and clinical instructor at Elon University, Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill respectively.

Additionally he has treated individuals, couples, and families; provided supervision for clinical social workers; and provided field instruction, supervision, and program evaluation for Master of Social Work students for the past 20+ years.

Finally, he has provided psychosocial assessments and discharge planning for patients with psychiatric or chemical-dependency problems; participated in health-services program planning, design, and management; and participated in several research and grant-writing projects during his professional practice career.

He has made presentations at a variety of conferences, including the NSEE Annual Conference, the SOHSE Annual Conference, and the NASW National Conference.
